2025 Toyota Tacoma – The Toyota Tacoma is one of the most popular mid-size pickup trucks with legions of successors. Public Tacoma is outdated and in dire need of a redesign. Fortunately, Tacoma will likely receive a significant facelift for the 2025 model year.
2025 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab for Sale Redesign
The all-new 2025 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab will likely be the most anticipated new truck in the next few years. Many love the Tacoma—it’s always been around, and the medium-duty truck is more popular than ever. The build quality of the Tacoma is abysmal, and the resale value is absurd.
But all Tacoma lovers want more from the truck, whether the Colorado ZR2 and Jeep Gladiator Rubicon have better handling, a more spacious and family-friendly interior, or better fuel economy with a hybrid or even electric powertrain. That said, if Toyota doesn’t hurt the legacy of the new Tacoma, the next-gen Tacoma can be more desirable than ever.
That’s what we know about the 2025 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab for the fourth time.
2025 Toyota Tacoma may be discontinued.
Toyota hasn’t announced when the Tacoma will arrive in 2025, but we suspect it will be sometime in the summer of 2023. According to Road & Track, the next iteration of the medium-duty truck “should be available in 2023 and is likely to go on sale as a 2025 model year.”
How much will the Toyota Tacoma cost in 2025?
No official information is available at this time. Given the public’s design skepticism (more below) and the rapid development of studies, we expect the Tacoma of 2025 to be more than just the Tacoma of 2022. For 2022, the Tacoma SR Access Cab will increase from an MSRP of $26,700 to a TRD Pro Double Cab trim of $46,135 MSRP.
Toyota Tacoma 2025 Specs: New Engine Options
The 2022 Tacoma will be offered with the top engines — a base 2.7-liter four-cylinder and a 3.5-liter V6 — the most powerful subcompact pickup ever. In particular, the output of the 2022 Tacoma V-6 is lower than that of its competitors that offer a V-6.
According to Car and Driver, the new Tacoma may offer a turbocharged four-cylinder, similar to the Lexus NX350, that produces 275 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque. Also, the 2022 Tundra model is expected to arrive in 2025, and the Tacoma will likely offer a hybrid version of its V-6 engine in 2025. Toyota may eventually release an electric version of the Tacoma, but that’s probably not until the 2025 model year.
The 2024 model year is the same, and in 2025 there will be a Tacoma body version. The lightweight truck ditches the rubber, leaf-spring suspension and replaces it with a solid-spring break, providing better handling and a smoother ride.
In 2025, the 2025 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab will introduce an updated version of the automatic transmission, another prediction for the 2022 Tacoma. Considering the popularity of this app among Tacoma enthusiasts, Tacoma will likely introduce the app by 2024.
2025 Toyota Tacoma Project: Does It Look Good?
Toyota has not released any pictures or videos of the 2025 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab. But we expect the 2025 Tacoma to share some elements of the Tundra’s design with the 2022 Tundra. Bull-like grill, fender flares, and glow plugs. Motor1’s spy photos show that despite the camouflage, the Tundra truck looks like a sports sedan. After that, the Tacoma is a “Tundra grill, shades, dual-veg configuration.”
While spy photos reveal the interior, the 2025 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab and possibly the 2022 Tundra will be hotter. This year it features high-quality materials and a 14.0-inch touch screen with the ability to be thicker.
