2024 Toyota Camry TRD – The Camry is a staple of the midsize sedan segment, which has been losing both revenue and sales in recent years as the world embraces SUVs. However, while the market has changed, the Camry continues to top the sales charts as the number one passenger car seller, a spot it has held for the past twenty years. It has a good reputation for reliability and offers a hybrid version that returns exceptional fuel economy.
2024 Toyota Camry TRD
The current generation Camry borders on stylish, especially when optioned with the Nightshade package, which adds bronze wheels for 2024, or the sporty-looking TRD trim. And while many of the Camry’s rivals, such as the Honda Accord and Hyundai Sonata, have moved to inline-fours.
Toyota’s midsize sedan can still be had with the 301-hp V-6 option. While it’s far from an exciting car to drive, its safety features, fuel-efficient engines, and spacious interior make it a competent and easy-to-live-with daily driver.
V6 engine lovers, rejoice… Toyota Camry TRD (Toyota Racing Development) is coming back in 2024. While other models in the 2024 Toyota Camry lineup also offer the 301-horsepower V6 engine, only the TRD model is designed for performance above and beyond the standard midsize family sedan. Read on to explore the new model and see if it’s coming in 2024. Is the Camry TRD right for you?
Will it be in the 2024 Camry TRD?
It is commendable that 2024 will be a high-performance variant of the standard Camry available for the model year.
2024 The Camry TRD will offer many or all of the same performance features we saw in last year’s model. These include TRD-tuned shocks, thicker struts, and coil overs that are specific to the Camry TRD model.
This eye-catching model will also offer sharp exterior styling that is unique to this model, such as 19-centimeter TRD wheels and twin exhausts on the shiny cat back.
Toyota Camry TRD 2024 will not be reformulated
While we cherished the hope that in 2024 The re-creation of Camry in 2008, and in particular the re-creation of Camry TRD, this year no such news happened.
The 2024 Camry TRD will likely offer all the same features, options, and styling as last year’s model. Fortunately, in 2022 The Camry TRD was a pretty impressive offering, so this isn’t a terrible thing.
This high-performance Camry is one of the last midsize family sedans to offer such a powerful V6 engine, and its good looks carry over for the new model year. However, we have not given up on 2024. from the hope of having a full update and a new project. Fingers crossed for more riding.
2024 Toyota Camry TRD release date, price, specs, and features
We don’t have exact details for 2024 Camry TRD pricing yet. But we can assume that with so few changes in 2023-2024, the new Camry TRD will cost what last year’s model did. Expect the new Camry TRD to start around $33,000-34,000.
Kelley Blue Book seems less than impressed with the interior features available in the latest Camry TRD.
The TRD model comes exclusively with the V6 and — goodness knows why — single-zone climate control again. It also returns to the duplicated leather, but this time with red stitching. The front passenger returns to having a manually adjustable seat. His self-portrait ability is lost in the rearview mirror. And the system of informants is reduced to 7″.
We expect that 2024 The Camry TRD will go on sale in the fall of 2022 and will be a tough competitor for the all-new 2024 Honda Accord.
New Camry TRD AWD?
Unfortunately, in 2024 The Camry TRD does not offer all-wheel drive. Toyota’s 3.5-liter V6 engine powers the front-wheel drivetrain only. I’m not entirely sure why Toyota offers available all-wheel drive on its flagship sedan, but it limits that capability to only four-cylinder models.
Currently, the TRD sedan is only available with front-wheel drive. We may (hopefully) see a Toyota Camry TRD AWD model with the 2024 Camry redesign.
Is there a Toyota Camry TRD night edition?
While Toyota rolled out new colors for the 2024 Camry Nightshade edition, this special edition exterior package will not be available on the V6 TRD model.
By 2024, the Toyota Nightshade Edition package will be available only on SE FWD, AWD, and Hybrid models.
If you’ve been waiting for the 2024 Camry TRD, expecting any big changes or upgrades, you’ll be happy to know there will be a new model. But, you’re better off just buying the 2022 model and probably saving a bit of money.
