New mechanical features
Aesthetic changes are wonderful, and we will certainly achieve them, but when you talk about a real off-road truck like the Tacoma TRD Pro, the mechanical side of things is always more interesting. 2022 In this regard, several new features have been added for the model year, the highest of which is the front and rear suspension. The new truck will use a set of Fox internal bypass shocks voiced by Toyota Racing Development and raised 1.5 “at the front – 0.5” at the rear.

Toyota makes its medium-sized truck more capable. Toyota Tacoma 2022 changes include the new release of the Trail Edition and the significantly increased TRD Pro model.
If the new Trail Edition is very similar to the Tacoma TRD Pro, be assured that Toyota puts some distance between the SR5-based off-roader and its top-of-the-line boulder basher.
By 2022, the Tacoma TRD Pro is getting more than just the new Electric Lime Metallic signature paint color. Toyota raises the suspension by 1.5 centimeters and 0.5 centimeters at the front, adds new shocks to the TRD-tuned Fox internal bypass and installs new forged aluminum upper control arms to take advantage of the extra repetitive shock that accompanies the changes. As a result of these changes, the approach, removal and refraction angles increase by 36.4, 24.7 and 26.6 degrees, respectively.
Theoretical upgrades include new 16-inch black alloy wheels wrapped in Goodyear Territory all-terrain tires, revised exterior calling cards and graphics, and new TRD PRO seals on each side of the boot. In addition to Electric Lime, the 2022 Tacoma TRD Pro is available in Super White, Midnight Black and Magnetic Gray.
Toyota has not announced any further changes to the rest of the 2022 Tacoma range. Truck production is fully relocated to Mexico for the 2022 model year.
Toyota has made quite a few upgrades to its off-road Tacoma TRD Pro for 2022 and it will not cost much more than last year. The Japanese automaker confirmed on Wednesday that the 2022 Tacoma TRD Pro with six-speed manual transmission could cost $ 47,150, including $ 1,215, to reach its destination. This is an increase of $ 1,610 compared to the 2021 model. If you choose 6-speed automatic transfer, expect to pay 49,855 AMD.

The Trail Edition includes lift accessories, locking rear differential, sliding plates and lockers on the bed. Think of it as TRD Pro Lite. Its off-road geometry is not as good as the Pro and lacks the selected multi-terrain and Crawl Control features, but it is also much more expensive.
The bones of the two containers, however, remain the same, including the 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 278 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. Both containers will be standard on Toyota Safety Sense P, which includes frontal braking, high-speed adaptive cruise control, road clearance warning and automatic high beams.
Unfortunately, Toyota’s Entune infotainment system also applies to both trucks. This system is long overdue for updates, has phase graphics and hardly any functionality. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Amazon Alexa are standard, however, so you will not have to work too hard inside the native system.
Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro and Trail Edition 2022 will go into production in November, the sale of which will follow shortly.
