2020 Toyota Supra Price UK – Toyota’s long-awaited successor to the legendary A80 Supra of 1993 broke into the Detroit Auto Show this year and continued to attract crowds in Geneva. Built by Toyota’s performance arm, Gazoo Racing, it looks like a six-cylinder turbo engine, an active chassis and a set of driver assistance technology.
2020 Toyota Supra Price
Already on sale, the prices for the Supra start from £52.695, with the model A90 Edition of top range that costs £56.945. All 900 models allocated for the UK and Europe markets in 2019 have already found homes, and the next batch of cars will arrive in 2020. The first deliveries will arrive in summer.
Today’s revelation of the new Toyota Supra was an event literally 12 years of manufacturing. Thus, the first indication of the emergence of a new Supra occurred in 2007 with the concept car FT-HS. Now that you’re finally here, there’s probably no shortage of people queuing up to buy one. Usually, we have to wait weeks or even months after the debut of a new vehicle to know its price, but fortunately Toyota feels that the world has waited long enough. The entrance to the Supra world is £52.695, but there’s more to it than that. We’Ll explain it to You in a moment.
For that price, the GR SUPRA 3.0 L package will get a 3.0-liter in-line turbo, six in the front, sending 335 bhp to the rear wheels in a package with a perfect weight distribution of 50:50. Miles per hour in just 4.1 seconds, but the maximum speed is limited electronically to only 155 mph. The UK standard car also has adaptive suspension, an active rear differential and launch control. On the safety side, it is fully equipped with frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane change notices, road signaling assistance and auto-operated high-light lights.
For £54.000, shoppers will get the GR Supra 3.0 L Pro finish, which offers black leather upholstery, JBL premium 12-speaker sound system, front display, wireless mobile phone charger, and lighting and storage packages.
However, before you can buy any of these cars, you will have to wait until Toyota sells all the models of the release edition of the A90 Edition to those who made pre-sales reservations. The first 24 cars will be designated as such, all based on 3.0 Pro models and a slightly higher price at £56.945. The additional cost offers a little more exclusivity in the form of unique numbers and style features, such as a special adornment and a carbon fiber badge on the passenger board that identifies the car as a model of the A90 Edition.
Most likely, the cars in the release edition of the A90 Edition are already in use, but if you really want to be the first new owner of Supra, take the next flight to Phoenix, Arizona. The first SUPRA production scheduled to leave the assembly line will be sold this week at the infamous Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, and all proceeds from the sale will be allocated to the American Heart Association and the Bob Woodruff Foundation.
Engines, 0-62 mph and maximum speed.
At the moment, all European Supras are equipped with a 3.0-liter BMW turbocharged petrol engine with a capacity of 3.0 liters, which produces 335 HP and 500 Nm of torque. ALL models have rear-wheel drive, and each is equipped with an eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox, which provides a reclaimed time of 0 to 62 mph of 4.3 seconds and an electronically limited maximum speed of 155 mph.
Each version of the new Toyota Supra has an active differential, operated by a dedicated control unit. The system monitors everything from the direction, throttle and brake inputs to the engine speed and chassis rotation speed. It then adjusts the vector twist between the rear wheels to provide maximum grip.
Gazoo Racing (GR for short) states that the new Supra has been conceived as a “sports car in its purest form” without “any commitment that decreases driving experience “. As confirmed last year in a series of spy developers, the new Supra underwent a merciless development program in Nurburgring. This, Toyota says it was made to achieve “the most agile, stable and rewarding management “.
Toyota recently confirmed that two four-cylinder versions of the SUPRA have been developed for the Japanese market, but it has not yet been confirmed whether or not they will arrive in Europe. Both the Supra SZ and the SZ-R use a four-cylinder petrol engine and a 2.0-liter turbo (also borrowed from BMW), coupled to the same eight-speed automatic as the star model.
The base model of Japan, Supra SZ, produces 194bhp, which makes it slightly less potent than a GT 86. This power deficit is compensated a little more with a torque of 100 Nm, with a total figure of 320 Nm, which allows a time of 0 to 62 mph of 6.5 seconds. The SZ-R obtains a trimmed ECU, increasing the power to 254bhp and 400Nm, and reducing the time from 0 to 62 mph to 5.2 seconds.
2020 Toyota Supra Dimensions and design.
With a length of 4.379 mm, 1.292 mm and 1.854 mm, the Supra is longer, lower and wider than a Toyota GT86. However, the wheelbase of the Supra is shorter, and its wider tires and square surface should make driving even sharper. With The six-liter six-cylinder engine in line on board, the scale rises to 1,520 kg. The 2.0 litre variants for Japan are lighter, with the base SZ model Above weighing 1,410 kg.
Supra’s style has remained almost entirely true to the GR Supra Racing concept of the Geneva Motor Show 2018. Of course, some of the car body panels have been slightly attenuated for the production variant, and the concept’s rear spoiler has been completely eliminated.
Toyota claims that it has been inspired by the estimated (and now very collectible) Toyota 2000GT of the 1960 decade, which retains its long bonnet and its double-bubble roof. Supra’s various vents and folds are, it is said, fully functional, designed to achieve optimum aerodynamic performance and a near-perfect front/rear weight distribution.
The New Supra has been developed along with the new BMW Z4, and the influence of the German company is more evident inside. The cab is built shamelessly from the BMW parts compartment, with the digital board, Shifters, climate controls and the iDrive style click wheel that rises from the new Z4.
