2002 Toyota Camry XLE V6 Review and Price – The Toyota Camry has been the most-sold car in the United States in recent years. That is an important title for car manufacturers, so Toyota is quite satisfied that the Camry has surpassed in sales to Honda Accord and Ford Taurus, its archrivals among medium sedans. Now comes a fully redesigned Camry for 2002, making this the fifth generation.

However, the coupe and Solara convertible are updated in 2002, with a new grille, front bumper, headlights and taillights. A new four-cylinder engine for 2002 delivers significantly more power than last year without sacrificing fuel savings or emissions.

In General, the Solara is smooth and quiet. Its Optional V6 offers a strong torque for good acceleration performance. It Is comfortable with fabulous seating and the top is easy to operate.

HE was always the most popular model. This year, it comes with a lot more standard equipment, including air conditioning, electric windows, electrical locks, electric mirrors, cruise control, split back seat 60/40 and courtesy mirrors.

However, Toyota expects more people to be interested in the luxuriously appointed XLE, as it is not such a high increase in the price of the LE as before. XLE adds luxury quotes such as wood mouldings, electric seats for the driver and passenger, automatic air conditioning, alarm system, keyless entry, charging network and sunshade for the rear window.

IT is a new model, a sportier version of the LE with additional equipment such as fog lights, stiffer suspension, larger wheels and tires, rear spoiler and more sporting decorations inside and out.

Each of the three models can be obtained with a newly redesigned V6 or four-cylinder engine. The manual transmission is only available in the LE and SE four-cylinder models.

The List of options packages is quite long, allowing shoppers to order a Camry to fit their taste and budget. Side airbags are available as an option in LE and SE, but they are standard in the XLE.

(Note: The Camry Solara 2002 Coupe/convertible is still based on the old Camry platform, although it has some small aesthetic changes to make it look more like the Camry sedan). The Solara comes in a stiff-roof coupé and convertible body styles Is available with four-cylinder or V6 engines and manual or automatic transmissions.

The four-cylinder coupe is available only at the $19.365 finish level with a five-speed manual transmission and $20.165 with a four-speed automatic. Standard equipment includes a new 2.4-litre engine of 157 horsepower,and air-conditioning and front disc brakes, cruise control, fog lights, a AM/FM radio with cassette player, 15-inch wheels and rims, fabric seats and bags Front air.

The V6 Coupe is available in the SE and SLE finish levels. SE V6 with five-speed manual sales for $21.685; SE with automatic transmission sales for $22.485; SLE, which is only available with automatic lists, for $24.675. Both are powered by a V6 3.0 liters of 200 horsepower and have disc brakes on all four wheels with ABS. The SLE adds leather seats, automatic climate controls, heated rearview mirrors, a JBL premium audio system with CD player, front bucket seats with eight directions on the driver’s side, a rear spoiler, alloy rims 16-inch and 205-60R16 Tires.

The Convertible is available as a four-cylinder SE ($24.495), or a V6 SE ($28.045) or V6 SLE ($30.525). All convertibles come with automatic transmissions. The Convertible top comes up and down by its own means and has a heated glass back window.
